This makes Nina happy as well.
Tooth count: Cholepan - 4, Nina - 0.
Monte is a little worried that Nina has no teeth yet. The interpreter says: "Relax, have you ever seen anyone without teeth?" She's got us on that one.

The party continues with a wipedown which has become Nina's favorite.
Cholepan is pretty in her new outfit. She had on about 3 layers of boys' clothes when she came in.
Loving your updates and pics/videos! And it is great to see Cholepan too. Leighton watched Nina's video clips and got very excited. We continue to pray for you all.
ReplyDeleteI hope all is going well. It sounds like you have some pretty good coordinators in place to assist you guys. Just think if you went at this completely alone.
ReplyDeleteThe videos are great...love the army crawl!
Tell Monte not to panic about the lack of teeth. Hannah's first tooth came in at 11 months and then it took an additional 2 1/2 months before #2-4 came in. Our pediatric dentist told us that the later teeth come in, the stronger they are.
ReplyDeleteHey there. Finally getting around to getting all of your updates. I logged in yesterday but kept on getting kicked off your site!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all Nina looks wonderful - what a sweet little girl......her giggle is contagious (can only imagine what it does to your heart)
I am so sorry there is a delay in getting the positive court result you want - we are all rooting for the positive decision on Tuesday and then life can begin as a family of 5.
Nina's birth Mum story is heart breaking - what a brave soul......... I hope she too can now find some peace, it is not easy for either side.
Thank you for your email.
I will send photos later.

What a fun post! She is so strong and giggly, she is going to fit in perfectly with the girls. Love ya!
ReplyDeleteI second the comment about the teeth. I met my daughter at 12 months and she had no teeth. Then brought her home at 14 months still with no teeth. Finally the first two on the bottom came in together at 15 1/2 months. I was trying to figure out how she would explain dentures to her prom date! All the doctors and dentists said no worriers - the later the better. So think of it as a plus!
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable and her giggles are beyond precious! Good luck with court on Tue.
Lou Ann & Lexie too
Thanks for sharing this wonderful time in your life with us, we are enjoying every minute of it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful blog and wonderful testament to your daughter's spirit. God bless and hope the rest goes smoothly for you.
